My Daily Journal With God:Week 12

Verse to memorize this month:

Pro 31: 14-17 She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.15 She gets up while it is still night she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants.16 She considers a field and buys it;out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. 17 She sets about her work vigorously her arms are strong for her tasks.

Monday What is praise?

"It is giving all space to God in our hearts"

NIV Psalm 103: 1

Write the following verse in your journal:

Praise, my soul, to the LORD; praise my whole being his holy name.

David passionately declared that above all he wanted to honor God.

Praising God with all his heart were not options for him, it was the only thing David wanted to do.

Psalm 42.1-2 (NLT)1 As the deer longs for the currents of the waters, so I long for you, O God. 2 I thirst for God, for the living God. When can I go to be in front of him?

Action Steps

In what way does our life reflect this desire?

How can I cultivate my desire for his presence in my life?

Tuesday: Praise With Art

"Praise is the art you develop over time"

Write the following verses in your diary:

Psalm 33:3 (NIV) 3 Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.

Praise and worship was not designed to be a concept or a definition, it was designed to be something that is developed and learned through practice, because it must be a way of life.

Psalm 145:2 (NIV)

2 Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.

Constancy teaches us to be sensitive to their presence, perseverance teaches us to feel with the heart and teaches us to express properly what we feel.

Psalm 34:1 I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.

Action Steps

Praise and adoration is not a definition, it is an art that develops with the practice of our personal relationship with God. May his praise be in the congregation of the saints.

Wednesday Prophetic Song

"Overflow of the spirit"

Write the following verses in your journal:

Ephesians 5:18-19(NIV)18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord,

When our spirit overflows in adoration to the Lord and we sing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the Bible calls it: "The Song of the Lord", because it is of Him, He puts it, He inspires it, He sings it.

Action Steps

Psalm 40.3 (HNV)

He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God

The new song, also called “The Song  of Jehovah," "The Song of the Lord," "Prophetic Song," "Exalted Praise," "Spiritual Canticles," is God Himself by His Spirit that puts it in the heart and mouth of God. his people enraptured by the Lord.

2 Samuel 23:1-2 (NIV)

23 These are the last words of David:“The inspired utterance of David son of Jesse, the utterance of the man exalted by the Most High, the man anointed by the God of Jacob, the hero of Israel’s songs: 2 The Spirit of the Lord spoke through me; his word was on my tongue.

Thursday The sayings of your mouth build bridges "

Psalm 19:14 May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight,  Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Words are a bridge that builds or destroys relationships, words unite or alienate people. But the words of praise, the language of faith, are words that build a deep relationship and communion with the Lord.

Action Steps

When we meditate on the Lord and His Word, your thoughts are on Him, so will your heart and your words will follow you.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

Luke 6:45(NIV) 45 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

Friday How to express praise to the Lord?

"With Jubilo's voice"

Psalm 95.1 (HNV) "Come, let us sing with joy to the LORD, let us cheer with joy to the rock of our salvation.”

Action Steps

The Bible speaks "Lit Offerings," "Knowledgeable Altars," "One service on," and surely that will be your praise to the Lord.

Approaching God with passionate and lively vocal expressions are statements of faith, passion, is the roar of the Lion of Judah and trust in the eternal refuge of our lives, Jesus the Rock of our salvation.

Psalm 89:26 He will call out to me, ‘You are my Father,my God, the Rock my Savior.’
