The choice of our decisions is something that every human being has. It is something that God gave us from the beginning and the freedom of choice is what determines the direction of how we conduct our life. For example, in the Bible Ruth decided to leave her family, culture, country, customs for something that was totally unknown. She had faith to follow Naomi a widow who did not hide her pain, who had even changed her name out of bitterness. However, Ruth made a statement that would completely change her life and destiny. She made the decision and chose to follow the path that would lead her to know the greatness and provision of a true and living God.

 

Now you have the opportunity to choose to know God through His beloved son Jesus Christ. Ruth was a Moabitess which meant that she came from a totally sinful region and culture. In the Bible, we find that they were people with a curse that set them apart from God.

We may not know what your condition or what sin you think may separate you from God. But if today you choose to accept the sacrifice that Jesus made for you on the cross, you can totally change the course of your life. Like this woman, she came to be totally redeemed and recognized within the genealogy of Jesus.

 

All you have to do is confess with your mouth that Jesus is the Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved. (Romans 10: 9)
